The Soviet Russian artist Lev Evilevich died at the age of 82.

On June 3, the renowned Soviet Russian artist and master of the spoken word, Lev Evilevich, passed away at the age of 82. The news was announced by the Yaroslavl Philharmonic without providing the cause of the performer's death.

"With deep sorrow, we announce that Lev Ilyich Evilevich, the Honored Artist of Russia and master of the spoken word, passed away on June 3," the obituary stated.

Lev Ilyich Evilevich dedicated over forty years of his creative activity to the Yaroslavl State Philharmonic. "His natural artistry and high craftsmanship allowed him to create a number of interesting and memorable programs. The artist's repertoire included over two dozen of them," the press service noted.

Lev Ilyich performed at the Sobinov Concert Hall, government concerts and events, both with solo programs and in collaboration with other musicians and ensembles. For several years, Evilevich was a participant in the All-Union Literary Subscription, collaborating with the Moscow State Philharmonic. He also worked with the Yaroslavl Academic Governor's Symphony Orchestra and toured many cities in Russia and abroad.
