In the Nigerian state of Nasarawa, a man has been arrested with a severed human head in a bag. The man, identified as Timilehin Adedayo, is a gospel singer who caught the attention of passersby due to his strange behavior. Upon searching his bag, the head of a young woman was discovered. The rest of the victim's body was later found in the singer's house. The motives behind the incident are currently under investigation.
The deceased, a 24-year-old woman, was a member of the National Youth Service Corps. According to a friend of the victim, the girl's mother lost consciousness upon learning of the tragedy. Having recently become widowed, she has now lost her daughter as well.
In a separate incident in the town of Sarov, an unknown man murdered and dismembered his ex-girlfriend's lover, who was an invalid, as well as the elderly caregiver. The perpetrator confessed that he was unable to cope with his emotions and beat the rival to death.
