Former Cirque du Soleil artist, Alexander Kazeko, was assaulted in the center of Moscow. The attack took place on Tverskaya Street in the evening. According to Kazeko, the assailant approached him without any demands and then immediately fled the scene.
Kazeko managed to walk to a medical center where doctors diagnosed him with a closed head injury, a fractured arm, and a concussion. He was then transferred to a hospital for further treatment. Fortunately, Kazeko has since been discharged and is recovering at home.
The police are currently searching for the attacker. The motive behind the assault remains unknown.
In a separate incident, teenagers in the Krasnodar region attacked a group of visitors near the Eternal Flame memorial after they confronted them about their drunken behavior. The victims were severely beaten, and one of them had their scalp forcibly removed.
Investigators are currently working on the case, and the culprits will soon face legal consequences.
